Council Permits

Do it right the first time

Customising your premises for your business is an exciting and rewarding process, so don’t put it at risk by neglecting local bylaws and planning schemes.

Local governments have all the information you require for the zone your building is in, and will help ensure compliance with all regulations. Signage, spray booths, exhaust ducts/flues, office fit-outs, construction, pallet racking, changes of use and car parking are all examples of things that need permits and council permission.

Always refer to your local government Planning Department before commencing alterations. You could avoid costly fines and litigation by the relevant council, and being in breach of your lease.
